Similar to the '00 Golden Shoot Pu-er, this '94 version has a bold and earthy flavour which sometimes resembles the taste of forest floor after a rain shower. After a sip of '94 Golden Shoot Puer, one will experience a distinct smooth and deep after taste, leaving a "feeling of húigān (回甘) " at the back of the throat. However, with a longer lifetime, the '94 Golden Shoot Pu-er has a more matured and sophisticated flavour as compared to its '00 sister.
